Now Trending: Nature's Cereal
In a strange turn of events, Gen Z has reinvented cereal. Coconut water and a mixture of fruits replaced the classic bowl of frosted flakes and milk.
Sherwayne Mears, a self-proclaimed student of nature, was the originator of the trend. His TikTok account called @natures_food shared a video making the new form of cereal.
He calls it nature's cereal. In a bowl, he places pomegranates, blackberries, blueberries, and coconut water. The video claims that it helps with digestion and boosts his energy levels.
The video gathered 5.5 million views, 1.1 million likes and created a new hashtag. #NaturesCereal has over 338.3 million views and thousands of videos. The video has caused many other creators to replicate the recipe and try it out.
Even celebrities have started to get on the trend, with singer Lizzo showing her reaction to the recipe. Her video showed her loving the concoction recommending it to her followers.
Another famous singer, Jason Derulo, joined in on the trend and created a parody of the original video.
Time will tell if nature's cereal becomes a household staple or just a passing trend.
